- Strong and durable
- Self-weighted and interlocking
- Optional reflective strip
The Mirus barrier is a self-weighted and robust barrier system, ideal for use in traffic control, cordoning off work areas and is often used as an alternative to road cones. This barrier is a stable alternative to water filled plastic barrier in areas where access to a water source is limited.
Each barrier is easy to install and interlock with the next, creating a strong safety wall with the ability to accommodate angles and corners up to 90°.
The barriers are manufactured from UV stabilised polyethylene, making it a strong and durable barrier that is weather resistant and will not fade over time. The barriers are a stackable design, allowing for easy transportation and storage.
There is an optional extra to have this barrier fitted with a reflective strip (at an additional cost), providing added extra safety by increasing the visibility to drivers and pedestrians.
These are self-weighted and at 22kg they are easy to manoeuvre on site by hand without mechanical equipment.
There is no need for filling with sand or water the barriers remaining stable on their integral foot. The barriers do have forklift slots for added versatility. There is an integral pin on the base which interlocks with an adjacent unit forming a solid wall. Mirus barriers can be delivered on a pallet of 21 barriers per pallet, a full load could cover up to 600m.
