We are approved suppliers to the HS2 Joint Venture Contractors appointed to construct the new HS2 links. We hold Gold Constructionline accreditation and FORS Gold for deliveries with our own vehicles into the section site compounds.

Concrete barrier Hire and Sales
Temporary Vertical Concrete Barriers often known as TVCB’s conform to BS EN 1317 standards and are 3m long by 0.45m wide and 0.8m high. They weigh 2½ tonnes and can be bolted together for extra security. The TVCB offers a versatile design that ensures safety and security, they are a fully interlocking system, which we can be deployed across the UK. The Barriers are a non-permanent fixing which are quickly and easily installed anywhere without damage to the existing surfaces. We can supply Eclipse60 mesh panels which can be fixed on top of the TCVB to form a very effective site perimeter, for higher security this can be upgraded to prison mesh topped with barbed wire (contact our sales staff) There is an integrated gate system to provide a 6m wide site access.
Chapter 8 Plastic Barriers for pedestrian and traffic management
Chapter 8 barriers are so-called because of their conformance to the standards set out in the Traffic Signs Manual and the New Roads & Street Works Act. A Chapter 8 system offers very versatile barrier option that can be used for traffic and pedestrian control and warning.
All our plastic pedestrian barriers are fully Chapter 8 compliant and suitable for use alongside roads and highways. The Barriers are made of durable plastic and are extremely robust.
Temporary Fencing and Hoarding
For the best, most reliable way to keep your site safe and secure, Maltaward’s top quality safety heras fencing should be your number one choice. Our temporary heras fencing is durable and sturdy and will keep your site protected and everyone using the space safe. Temporary fencing can be supplied, or if you would prefer, we offer and installation service in the southeast. A also supply the associated equipment such as clips, brace brackets and rubber feet. For additional stability, you could also upgrade with the extra ballast block. We have a range of vehicle and pedestrian gates to suit.
If temporary fencing is not suitable, for added security we can provide timber site hoarding fixed to our kentledge blocks. Check our concrete blocks pages for the variety of blocks available. You can fix the timber hoarding posts to the blocks, avoiding the need to excavate post holes. A distinct advantage if the ground is full of services or you don’t want to damage surfaces. We can hire or sell the blocks nationwide and quote for a supply and install of site hoarding in the Southeast.
